Books will be apart of the plan for the blog, but instead of just being about picture books, we are going to broaden and narrow the scope of it at the same time. All books will be considered. It doesn't matter if it is a picture book, chapter book, text book or a whatever book. All books will be considered. The narrowing part is that they are going to have to do with getting outside or doing something outside...nature in general will work as well.
Things to do will become a greater focus. The plan was to attend author visits (still will be apart of it) or book festivals (still will happen). Now we will also be looking other events and just ideas on how to get outside. It could be simple stuff like a game or difficult stuff like a camping trip in the White Mountains. Most of the focus, at least to start with, will be New England. A little Texas and Europe will be thrown in there for good measure as well. Need to keep it real, right?
Pictures! Lots and lots of pictures. I want to include pictures in every single post. That will be the hard part of this. So I will do my best.
Also, we will be adding program ideas. Things you can do with a group of a variety of ages, from 4yrs old to 90yrs old. I would like to think this as my idea board. Most of the ideas will not be totally thought out and perhaps even hard to follow, but it will be there and this will allow me to work through my thoughts.
